It was a last minute stay when weather stranded me in Atlanta. Close to the airport, efficient shuttle service to the airport in the morning. Front desk staff couldn't find my reservation which had been made two hours earlier. That was inconvenient given I was tired and didn't want to be in Atlanta, but not the fault of the hotel. The staff did their best to figure out how to remedy the problem, which they did.
With proximity to the airport comes noise. This was the noisiest airport hotel I've stayed at. If the sound of airplanes will keep you up this isn't the place for you. Also the smell of cleaning products/air freshener in the room was unbearable and offensive. I won't stay here again and the smell is the only reason. Other than that the hotel was nice, attractive, and convenient. Perhaps those with less sensitive allergies wouldn't find the floral freshener problematic.
Front desk crew was fantastic
The waitresses in the bar lounge were very bad.
Everything was perfect. The staff at check in was great and very accommodating. The shuttle drivers were polite, helpful and courteous. It was the right place to stay before we left for Hawaii the next morning. We will stay again.
Great location easy access to airport, food was good
I love the view!! The room was very clean and high class!
The cleanliness and the city view I had.
Everything was good
View of runway
No freebies - like bfst or cocktail
I stayed here for my birthday, where again I took advantage of watching the planes. This is the best place to spot at ATL, hands down. Most things were still above average or excellent. Kudos to the wait staff at the restaurant. They remembered us from last time, and really made our 2 year old feel welcome. Normally he's quite shy, but he even gave the server a hug!
The hotel was much noisier this time (due to people, not airplanes). The design of the hotel, rooms surrounded by a central atrium, really enhances the noise coming from other people. Lots of doors slamming, loud talking, etc. Aside from this, I would still stay here.
Great stay. It would be great if they added a complimentary breakfast. Everyone on the staff were friendly and hospitable. I appreciated it.
The view was awesome. The staff was very friendly.
Having to pay to park. The vallet was outrageous,$18.00
Proximity to airport and a staff that went out of their way to assure my trip was successful.
Limited coffee and "snack" options.
I really enjoyed being at the hotel. Really clean and nicely decorated. Bed was really comfortable but hard to keep the heat or air regulated. We loved being able to see the planes take off and land. That was a nice experience and they were not noisy as I thought they would be. Overall it was a nice experience.
I didn't like all the noise that the other room had. I called down to the front desk and asked if they could please say something. I'm not sure if the frontdesk said anything but from the sounds that kept from the room next door and the kids still playing in the hallway most of the night, I felt like nothing was said. I think that if you are a four star hotel more should be done to keep the noise level down. When reading reviews, I thought the other guest were talking about the runway/airplanes making the noise. No, it's the guest. If u want a goods night sleep, I wouldn't suggest this hotel, unless u had no choice.
PROS: This has to be the nicest Hotel in Atlanta for $115. Parking $16... Who cares? It might have a couple of scratches, but geez, who cares? Just staying here is exciting. The sites, sounds and smells amp you up to want to go hop on a plane and travel. Some of the best service in Atlanta, or Georgia for that matter. No butt kissing here, just plane ole Southern Hospitality! The beds are to die for! Over all my most unforgettable experience ever in a Hotel!
CONS: Food is going to cost you. $70 for a comfortable and beautiful breakfast. Ouch. The breakfast had and awesome presentation. Looks are deceiving, IHOP has a lot more flavor. The coffee was great though! So, I would say go out for food if you want a dinner with flavor.
A good hotel, very close to the airport. We spent one night after arriving from London and it was just what we needed after a long haul flight. Room was clean and well equipped and very comfy!
The food was delicious! The room was clean, the bed very big and comfortable!
Prices of the food was a little high!
